Intervals & regions

Check intervals

Each monitor runs on an interval. The available options range from every few seconds to every 30 minutes:

Interval Notes
Every 3 / 10 / 30 seconds Sub-minute — best-effort (see note below).
Every 1 minute
Every 3 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 30 minutes

The default is every 5 minutes. Faster intervals may be gated by your plan — a plan defines the fastest interval you can select.

Important

The background scheduler fires at most once per minute. Sub-minute intervals (3s/10s/30s) are best-effort and effectively behave like a 1-minute check on the standard scheduler. Choose them for intent/priority, not a guarantee of exact sub-minute timing.

Regions

A monitor can run from a specific region so results reflect a particular part of the world:

Code Region
global Global (auto) — the default
wnam North America — West
enam North America — East
weur Europe — West
eeur Europe — East
apac Asia-Pacific
oc Oceania
sam South America

Pick Global (auto) unless you specifically want to observe from one region — for example to verify a geo-routed endpoint or a region-specific CDN.
