Developer API
Pulse exposes a small, focused HTTP API scoped to your organization. All endpoints live under your organization path:
https://pulse.servilo.in/<org>/api/…
Endpoints
| Method | Path | Auth | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
GET |
/<org>/api/status.json |
Public | Status summary (Statuspage-compatible). |
GET |
/<org>/api/incidents.json |
Public | Recent incidents. |
POST |
/<org>/api/ingest/incident |
API key | Open/resolve incidents from external tools. |
Authentication
- Public read endpoints (
status.json,incidents.json) need no key and send permissive CORS headers, so you can fetch them from a browser. - Write endpoints require an API key, sent as a bearer token.
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $PULSE_API_KEY" \
"https://pulse.servilo.in/acme/api/ingest/incident"
Caching
Public endpoints are cached briefly (around 30 seconds). Don't poll faster than that — the data won't change more often.
Tip
Build your own dashboards or Slack summaries on top of status.json. It mirrors the widely-used
Statuspage summary shape, so existing tooling often works with little change.
